Does any of that give you the right to judge me and my parenting skills? No. Does that give ANY of you the right to complain? Sure. But don't act as if I'm not trying to remedy the situation. I don't enjoy listening to my kid scream any more than you do. Don't sit on your ass and complain that there are kids in public spaces. That's how life works. You don't like it, go find somewhere else to eat, ride the bus, shop or whatever else you think kids shouldn't be allowed to go to.
To this lovely generation of assholes that seem to be plaguing the earth, get off your high horse. You were a kid once, too. You were probably an asshole then, and I'm willing to bet money you screamed in a public place once and embarrassed the hell out of your parents more than once. Stop acting as if you're king of the world. Anywhere people may congregate has the potential to have children. Some of them may be well-behaved, some of them not. Some may have crappy parents that don't care, but some of us do. Don't act all high and mighty and tell us that your experience was just ruined because of the presence of a small child. That you can't shop/eat/whatever in peace because there are children somewhere on this planet that annoy you. Get over it. It's part of dealing with the human race. If you don't like it, stay home and order everything off Amazon and shut the hell up. The rest of us, we have a modicum of common sense and know that dealing with a wide range of people is part of the territory. Have fun in your bubble-wrapped life where you never encounter anything that hasn't been just perfect for you.
Do me a favor and act like a human being, would you? Remember, this generation of children you look so far down upon your nose at, THOSE are the ones that will be managing YOUR retirement funds.
